IT - Services
Our I.T. Division provides a specialist service in the installation of data cabling in commercial office and retail developments. A.E.S. Ltd also provides a project management facility and data network design services for passive and active networks. We are a member of BICSI and are accredited to AMP, Hubble, Nexans, Mini C & Excel. We have completed numerous Projects comprising of Cat 5E, Cat 6, Fibre and Wireless A,B. & G Networks.
We have our own in house Fluke DTX analyser and offer full 25 warranties on all our branded installations.
The following is only a brief cross-section of projects completed; a more detailed list can be viewed under completed contracts section or by contacting our Office.
- Cat 6 - Northern Trust, Limerick. - We installed a comprehensive data & telephone network using panduit Cat 6, cable and fully managed racks. 1200 network points.
- Active 3 Com & Fibre Network - Sheen Falls, Kenmare, Co. Cork. - We installed a complete fibre and telephone network between The Sheen Falls Hotel and sixty large scale exclusive holiday homes. Using 3 Com Layer 3 Switches, we provided broad band facilities to back each home and also installed the relevant active & passive network for future IPTV. We also installed a siemens hybrid PBX which linked to the existing Hotel, providing full integrated services with the Hotel.
- Wireless network - Dunraven Arms Hotel, Co. Limerick. - We installed a complete WIFI network in the Hotel, so that broadband can be accessed from every room in this 110 bedroom hotel. We installed 3 Com POE 802.11G Access points throughout the hotel to facilitate this.
